LightFeather is committed to making our website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. Accessibility is part of how we build human-centered technology, on this Site and in the work we deliver.

The standard we hold ourselves to.

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the technical standard incorporated by Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended (29 U.S.C. § 794d). WCAG AA is our floor, not our ceiling.

Measures we take.

To support access for all visitors, we design and build the Site to:

• Meet WCAG AA color-contrast ratios for text and interactive elements;
• Provide a visible keyboard focus indicator on every interactive element (we never remove focus styling);
• Support keyboard-only navigation, with hit targets of at least 44×44 pixels;
• Use semantic landmarks, headings, and labeled form inputs so assistive technologies can interpret the page;
• Provide text alternatives for meaningful images and icons;
• Avoid using color as the only way to convey information or state; and
• Honor the operating-system “reduced motion” preference for animation.

Accessibility is ongoing.

We test with a combination of automated tools and manual review, and we work to remediate issues as we find them. Because content and technology change, some parts of the Site may not yet fully conform. We are continually improving.

Third-party content.

Some content or functionality on the Site may be provided by third parties whose accessibility we do not fully control. Where we identify barriers in third-party components, we work with the provider or seek an accessible alternative.
